shameonyoko Dig. I like the sonic space it occupies. Nice little minor ending. I feel like it could have been on the That Thing You Do soundtrack and I mean that in the best of all ways. I feel the warmth. I'm now perfectly tan.

about

I wrote this song after spending the day out at the river being a Northern California freshwater mountain mermaid. I was so inspired by the refreshed revived feeling I had after soaking up the sun and swimming in the cool clear waters all day, I got home, sat on the end of my bed, and wrote this song all at once. I wanted it to sound the way sunlight feels and leave the listener feeling the way I felt after that perfect river day. Thanks to all of the musicians and the team behind the making of this track, I think we accomplished the vibe. Enjoy Sweet Sunlight.

Thank you for listening,

~ Jessica

lyrics

Sweet sunlight
Sweet sunlight
Shine down on me
Shine down on you

I've got no reason to complain
Lying here on this lonely river bank
Why don't you come lie next to me
We'll watch our troubles roll away

Sweet sunlight
Sweet sunlight
Shine down on me
Shine down on you
